A values-led child care and kindergarten in Nundah

Our Fees

Toombul Early Childhood Centre is a church-based child care centre and kindergarten. It is our aim to keep our fees as low as possible to ensure equitable access to quality early education.

Day Rate (7.00am to 6.00pm)

  • Nursery: $109
  • Toddler: $109
  • Junior Kindy: $103
  • Kindergarten: $103

Enrolment Fee

There is a once-off enrolment fee (equal to two week’s fees; minimum of $100) which must be paid before the first day of attendance. This will be refunded upon withdrawal from the Centre if withdrawal is more than three months after enrolment and if there are no outstanding fees.

Billing schedule

Our fees are paid fortnightly in advance. Payment can be made via credit card or direct debit. Please contact our Administration Officer to arrange this.

Public holidays
That while we do not provide childcare or Kindergarten learning on public holidays you will still need to pay fees for those days. The exceptions to this are Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. This is an Australian Government ruling.

Late Fees
Toombul Early Childhood Centre closes promptly at 6pm. Children who remain in the Centre beyond this time will incur additional care charges of $30.00 per 15-minute block until such time as the child is collected. Families who are consistently late in collecting their child(ren) may forfeit their place at the Centre.

For a full schedule of fees please contact our Administration Officer.

Child Care Subsidy

The federal government pays the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) directly to your approved child care provider to reduce the fees you pay. This subsidy will take into consideration three things.

  • Combined Family Income
  • Activity level of parents
  • Type of child care service used
  • You can use this online estimator to find out what it means for your family and the likely subsidy you will receive.

To learn more about the subsidy, please visit Australian Government Child Care Subsidy information page.

To be eligible for the subsidy you will need to register with the Federal Department of Human Services (DHS). You can contact DHS by phone on 13 61 50 or via their website www.humanservices.gov.au
